Can't upload PDFs (2 posts)

    Hi,

I'm trying to upload a 14MB PDF to my site using the Media Library. It starts to upload, then I get a message saying 'Crunching' and nothing ever happens. I've tried all I can think of - different browsers, uploading through posts or pages but nothing. I tried the old uploader but this led to an error page.

I'm replacing a 5.9MB PDF that I successfully uploaded before.

I am told the limit is 250MB for an upload to don't think it is anything to do with file size.

Can anyone help? I'd really appreciate it.

    Many thanks

Most of the time your host will not allow uyou to upload anything via php larger than 8MB. Try searching for php.ini memory upload increase.

Or.... just transfer it via FTP. That would be easiest.
