    HELP!

    Problem:

I can't upload ANY media to the media manager in wordpress. I was able to upload media before but not now. No updates or additions were made to the load out. No plugins or themes were installed that may have caused the problem. It just started happening.

    Error:
Unable to create directory D:\Hosting\9129349\html\imfrom\detroit/http://www.creativejumble.us/imfrom/detroit/wp-content/uploads/2012/08. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Hosting: Godaddy Web - Ultimate Secure - Windows

    Operating System :WINDOWS
    WordPress Version: 3.4.1
    PHP : Version 5
    IIS : Version IIS 7.0

    Things I've Tried:

Went to Settings>Media on the back end of WordPress.

Tried unchecking "Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders".

Saved the setting and tried uploading again.

    Still didn't work:

Went back to the same section and deleted the URL path from "Store uploads in this folder".

Saved the setting and tried uploading again.

    Still didn't work

Then tried changing permission to 777,775, and 755

    Still didn't work

I am looking for a solution.

Ask GoDaddy to ensure that the wp-content folder is writeable.
