Support » Fixing WordPress » Can't upload media – directory pathname problem

  • I’ve got these errors (which show up for each image in the media libraty) as a result of moving a website over to a new server. Now I can’t upload media. It appears that some configuration setting is assuming an incorrect pathname (an extra directory called /famtaro just below /home)…
Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/famtaro/public_html/reginagelfo/wp-content/uploads/2010/08) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/reginage:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/reginage/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2028

Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/famtaro/public_html/reginagelfo/wp-content/uploads/2010) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/reginage:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/reginage/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2037

Any ideas of how to fix this?
    Thanks!
