    I am using version 2.9.2

I am having trouble uploading larger MP3 files. I am doing a site for a church that wants the capability to have their sermons downloaded from the site. So, I installed this plugin - Download File Manager and it works good with smaller file size PDF stuff. However, I've tried to upload a few different MP3's averaging 35MB, and it just stalls out. Meaning that it acts as if it's uploading for a while then, it just clears the upload options. I have checked the server via FTP, and it's not putting any portion of the file on the server. I've also uploaded it via FTP with no problem, however the plugin does not detect files uploaded via ftp.

I contacted the plugin creator, they say it has no limit on file size...

So, I found this article and tried modifying the .htaccess file as suggested to no avail.

Can anyone help?? Is their another plugin that can handle this? There has to be a way of doing this.

    Much thanks in advance!

you are going to start to run into trouble with browser uploads.

Larger files just plain don't work reliably.

Different computers, different browsers, different ISPs, all will give different variables...but at some point, the uploads will crap out

Ive got my site set up with no limits. At work, I can upload a 220Mb mp3 file no problem

At home, anything bigger than 50ish craps out

ftp is really the only reliable solution for larger files
