   I am trying to upload images for my blog.

   If I click insert picture and then insert from computer and try and upload an image I get the following error message:

   “pitch drop.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
   Unable to create directory D:\webs\v\a\g\vaguelyinteresting.co.uk\www/wp-content/uploads/2012/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

   This might be an issue with my hosting provider, but I just don't know where to start - any help or thoughts whatsoever would be gratefully received.
