Hey guys,
Basically I can't upload ANYTHING to WordPress. I was trying to do a post earlier, and attempted to upload a feature image. It hangs at 25% and doesn't present a time out or general error, it literally just sits there.
Tried it with all the theme turned off and plugins etc to no avail.
Also spoke to my host who said everything was fine on there end.
Tried using a separate computer and had the same problem.

Okay, so it looks like it's a 'Mod security' error thing...
However, I don't understand how I correct it.
I'd suggest contacting your hosts about it.

Interesting development, it turns out I can upload very small files, but nothing too big.
And by too big I mean over 500x500 and over 1mb.
1M seems a little small for a file upload limit. Have you asked your hosts about this?

Yep, twice, and they can see nothing wrong on their end.
Did they confirm that they are limiting uploads to 1M? If so, that's pretty lousy! Have a look at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/add-from-server/ to work around this.

Well I've uploaded loads of stuff this morning without issues, and they were well above 1mb, and then this afternoon it just died!

I really appreciate all your help guys, but this is my first WordPress, and I don't understand where half of this stuff is...
I'd seriously consider moving to a new host if they are limiting uploads to just 1mb. In the meantime, have a look at that plugin I mentioned above.

Despite that, I found it and it's set at 64Mb..
