Hi,
I was having trouble uploading images so I deactivated all my plugins and installed the newest version. Same thing. The image won't show up on any pages I try. I still haven't activated the plugins to see if that was the issue but I guess not.
The weird thing is that if I press edit after I upload the image I can see it but if I ok it then there is just the outline of an image with nothing inside it. Weird.
Help!

Have you tried:
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- checking your uploads path in Settings->Media. It should be blank in most installs.
Hi esmi,
I tried theme switching to no avail. I looked into the other two suggestions but am a little confused. This is where my tech saviness goes out the window.
Under settings I have something in "Store uploads in this folder" but under "Full URL path to files" it's blank which I guess is good, right?
I'm a little scared to reset the plugins folder...

Try removing it and leaving that input blank - then save your changes.
It worked!!!!
Thank you so much!!

I had the same problem, once I deactivated the plugins and then reactivated them, the images began to upload again.

I am very new to WordPress - only installed yesterday. I am not a web designer so do not know all the jargon. I cannot upload images into WordPress 3.3.2
I inherited 2 plugins which came with this version but they have not been activated. Has anyone any suggestions to help me as a website with no pictures is no good to me.
