Can't upload image to post on Mac

    After I updated WordPress to 3.4.2, I couldn’t upload any pictures to a post anymore. This is what happens: I click the upload/insert link normally and the windows also shows up normally; then I can choose my image or drag and drop it and it goes fine, the counter even moves to 100%; but when it’s finished uploading, the image will show up just as a question mark icon and if I try to click to view it, it displays “There are no bytes of data” –or something like that.

    This issue occurs only on Macs. I also tried to use different browsers to no avail. Does anyone else experience this? How do I fix it?
