I have followed all the steps, and disabled all my plug ins, searched these forums and still cant get my install to update correctly from 2.6.5 to 2.7 or 2.7.1. What happens is I do the update, and then do the update.php link and the entire site goes blank, then errors start pouring in my log files. To revert back I have to totally take out the 2.7 files reinstall 2.6 files then do the update.php again. DB re updates then it works. It is most annoying. Any ideas? Site is http://www.northpointchurch.org

yes, figure out the source of the errors

I am also having trouble updating via the automatic FTP updater. My problem is that my host name (this would be the address, http:// included?) has been cached as the incorrect path and anything I type within the field box is wided and replaced with the cached text path. I have retried this in both Firefox and Safari and it still has the incorrect cached path within the host name text field box.

    What the hay I say?
