Can't update plugin or install new theme

    I have installed two websites on my localhost. Both use different folders. By the second one I installed I cannot update plugins or install new themes. Bij updating I get the logging.

    Unpacking the update…

    Installing the latest version…

    Removing the old version of the plugin…

    Could not create directory. /web/sjackjansmafotografie.nl/wp-content/plugins/twitter-plugin/

    Plugin update failed.

    I have write access to this folder..

    Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

    Sorry, it still doesn’t work. I changed the permissions to 777. Still getting the message..
    Can it have a relation with my other website under wordpress? Updates for that website or possible..

    Both on localhost on my NAS server..

    It shouldn’t do. I’m running 5 installs on my local server and they all can run updates just fine.
