    I am unable to update posts in my blog (lee.org) that were created before 1-25-10. I’m guessing that’s when I upgraded to 2.9. I am currently running 2.9.2.

    To reproduce the problem I:
    * go to edit the post
    * make some changes to the post
    * click “Update”
    * the circle icon twirls for 3 seconds and it says “Post Updated. View Post”
    * However, the changes I just made don’t appear. It looks exactly the same as before my edit. The Edit Post page doesn’t show the edit I just made. It loses my changes. 🙁

    If I try to make an edit on any post more recent than that, the changes are accepted with no problem.

    I’ve tried:
    * disabling all my plugins
    * renaming the plugin directory to make sure no plugins are causing problems.
    * disabling Google Gears
    * using different browsers (IE and Chrome)
    * Doing a database update with ../wp-admin/upgrade.php (it says no update is needed)

    Does anyone know of a fix?

    Try repairing your database tables.

    Access your WordPress database via phpMyAdmin (most hosting providers offer this in their control panel), select all of the tables in the database, and choose “Repair tables” from the pull-down menu.
