Cant Stop Spam Bot from Registering as Editor

I need help I get a 100 a day registrations as spam and they become an Editor somehow?

Ive gone to Settings and general and unchecked , “The anyone can register”
Ive installed a spam plugin
Ive called bluehost and have activated some sort or spam detection, but I am still getting these spam or people registering and an “Editor” not just a subscriber but and Editor which can change and moderate my posts.

So please help !!!
