Nav Menu Images
[resolved] Can't set featured image (9 posts)

After I've uploaded an image from the menu item edit screen, there is no link to set it as the featured image (for the menu item), so the image cannot be attached to the menu entry.

WordPress 3.5 has an altered Media manager to that of <3.5

Did you find a solution for that? I can't find a link to set an image as "featured" either

No. I think it is due to the fact the WordPress media manager has changed format recently, and the plugin author has not had time to update the plugin to suit the new controls.

Pity... do you have any other idea how I could use images in menu items instead of text links?

Ok... it is simple: just upload your image and use <img>-tag instead of text... this is not really so good as if you change the domain/ hosting you have to change the src URLs for each image by hand but ok... it is a way

I've updated a plugin to use new media views in WordPress 3.5+ so I guess this is not an issue anymore.
