   Hi.

   I have the new upgrade. I'm working in my widgets... simple text widgets for example. I did the pre-flight check and all is OK.

   When editing a text widget I can't select the contents... simply move back and forth and delete, but can't highlight text either with ctrl-a or by dragging the mouse over.

   Any ideas please?

   I think I saw this same problem in the last day or two and the person resorted to reuploading the WordPress files.

   Same problem...

   I had the same problem with WordPress.com
   That's why I changed to WordPress.org and now it is doing the same thing.

   I need help.
   I upgraded from 2.2 to 2.3.1 and now the highlight of text in a text widget does not work.
   I can not highlight text in a text widget to copy/cut text.

   Oh MAN!

   ya.. me too.. i think it's the script..

   maybe we can do smth around reuploading the widget plugin >???

   AFAIK the only happens in IE. Perhaps until it is sorted out you can use FF.

   Hey, I just found out you can do it in Firefox - it works there.
