I have 3 HTML pages plus the link to my WordPress site and I can't seem to get a sitemap generated. From what I have read WorPress generates it's own sitemap? So do I need to just use a nofollow command in the robot.txt file.

You can generate both a Google XMl sitemap and a human readable sitemap using plugins.
