The plugin is designed to display posts from your Facebook page or group. It can’t be used to reliably display posts from a personal profile due to Facebook’s privacy restrictions. Are you trying to display posts from a Facebook page or group? If so, could you tell me the Facebook Page ID that you’re using so that I can check it out?

Thanks for the info. That ID is actually for your personal profile – it isn’t possible to use the plugin to display posts from a personal profile, only a public page or open group.
It sounds like you’re trying to replicate your Facebook home page feed. You can use the plugin to display posts from any open groups you are a member of, or any public pages which you follow by just putting their ID into the shortcodes, like so:
[custom-facebook-feed id=PAGE_ID_1]
[custom-facebook-feed id=PAGE_ID_2]
[custom-facebook-feed id=PAGE_ID_3]
etc..
Again, these IDs would have to be from public pages or open groups though. There’s more information about this in the FAQ section on our website.

I managed to work with some group but still have 2 questions:
1. With a few groups, though public, the tool for retrieving the ID from url didn’t work.
For instance, for the group https://www.facebook.com/groups/wordpress.israel
I get from the tool:
“Unable to lookup. Double-checking the Facebook URL”
2. Another qustion:
How do I retrieve from facebook also the comments of the messages?

The ID for that group is 135673716502581. Here’s a link to that group feed in the demo.
Displaying comments on your posts is actually one of the features of the Pro version of the plugin. It isn’t possible to display the comments in this free version.
