cant see pages from lan

    I have made a xampp server and installed wordpress on it.. the server is up and i can see it myself by typing localhost in my browser. But i cant see it on another computer (on lan by typing my local ip). i accutly can but only the text. and css extensions does not show up.

    Don’t use localhost as part of your site urls in Settings->General.

    so i have to choose between access from lan or internet.. is there any way i can make them both work at same time?

    Correct. I’d suggest that you use the fully qualified domain name in the site url. See Changing_The_Site_URL. Then it’s down to configuring your local network to access the full domain name.
