Can't see my blog or login to WordPress. Is my blog dead? (2 posts)

    Hi,

I updated 3 Plugins this afternoon but now I can't even load WordPress anymore. When I try to login via my normal link I just get a blank white screen and can't see anything at all (I don't even get the normal login screen).

I've zero experience with anything techy-related so was wondering if somebody would be able to shed some light on this? The blog is a work one, http://poker.boylepoker.com/, and even that won't load for me.

Can anybody advise what happened or how I resolve it?

Here's a link to a screenshot of what I can see when I load WordPress: http://i.imgur.com/9HoePRE.jpg

    Thanks,

    Paul

    First, try:

deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s). If you can't get into your admin dashboard, try deactivating via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems (because the hooks remain unless plugins completely removed or some plugins stick around in cached files. So by renaming the folder, you break them and force them inactive).
