Can't See My Blog, Can't Even Log In (5 posts)

    Hi,

I have two WordPress installations in subdirectories of my site. I thought I had a backup of one of them. When I uploaded the wpadmin and the wpcontent directories by FTP (overwriting what was there), something went wrong.

Now I can't see my blog. I don't get an error, rather a page on the other installation shows up. I wonder if I somehow uploaded the wrong files.

Question: Anyone got a clue to how to fix this.

Address of blog I can't get to:
    http://www.opuntiads.com/oblog

    Thanks

    Hi,

That URL (http://opuntiads.com/O) is blog No. 2.

The installation I cannot see is No. 1 (http://opuntiads.com/oblog).

Twe two URLs are similar, I must have screwed up some pointer somewhere.

The second URL redirects to: http://opuntiads.com/O/more/blog-roll/

The simplest thing, if you have messed up your sites, is to have them restored from databases of their own, if you have databases, or you can try to get databases from your host.

I give the above suggestion because you have too many problems, starting from login problems.

Joe, call your hosting service. They can help you straighten this out. Hopefully you are hosted somewhere that has good support.

Or, if you feel comfortable logging into your hosting service and straightening it out then do so. But from the above it sounds like a little bit of guidance from your hosting service help desk will save you a lot of time and headaches.
