Can't See Links (6 posts)

Well first, I can't see how to tell which version I'm using. Is it the 2.1.1 that appears at the bottom of the pages?
The main problem is that nothing appears in the Links panel in the sidebar no matter what I type in to the "add link" screen.
I've just set up the blog through 1and1.co.uk and freely admit I haven't a clue what I'm doing. The address is blog.saltrams.com and I'm using the Terra theme. Thanks in anticipation,
    Yours foolishly

Have you activated the Links (Blogroll) widget, using the Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widget page?

Right; I have a Dashboard, but it doesn't have an "appearance" section. I have a "Presentation" tab with a "widgets" sub-tab but when I click on it I get this:
No Sidebars Defined - You are seeing this message because the theme you are currently using isn’t widget-aware, meaning that it has no sidebars that you are able to change. For information on making your theme widget-aware, please follow these instructions.

Suppose that means I can't use the Links? But when I started there was an "example" page with 4 links in it that listed OK (they were all links to other people's blogs, don't know if they were real or not as I deleted them).
Does that make my problem any clearer?

Upgrade to the latest version 2.8.4 and use a compatible theme from:
