   I'm new to WordPress and am confused.

   I downloaded Nextgen Gallery and create a nice gallery with a few pictures in it. Problem is I can't work out how to show the gallery on a page.

   I have:
   - uploaded 5 pictures into a gallery and called it Bren-test-gallery
   - created a page called test gallery
   - in the "Manage Gallery" section I set the "page link to" box to test gallery (the page name). I can see the pics I have in there and it looks OK.
   - I wrote this in the body of the test gallery page:

   testing the new gallery plugin

   [ nggallery id=x ]

   ...and that's exactly what I see when I look at the page, the little message and the code. no pictures, and did remember to update the gallery info in the "manage Gallery" section.

   How do you link a gallery to a page?

   I wondered if I needed an album over the top of it and played around with that for a while but it didn't do anything.

   You need to remove whitespaces on both sides inside the square bracket.
   [nggallery id=x]

   Thank you Joseph, much appreciated!

   That was beginner user error #34, which was closely followed by #35 (not replacing the x by something meaningful, like the number of the gallery).
