• I have multiple sites and use Contact Form 7 on most of them. I have noticed recently that the Captcha image is not displaying and showing the broken image icon.

I can seem to find a solution for this. I havent moved or done anything with the sites it just appears to be not working.

Has anyone else experienced this or do they have a solution?

  • I am having the same problem. We changed servers about a month ago and now I am getting this error:

This contact form contains CAPTCHA fields, but the temporary folder for the files (E:\websites\aq2\Agencies\public\webroot/wp-content/uploads/wpcf7_captcha) does not exist or is not writable. You can create the folder or change its permission manually.

How/where do I change the “(E:\websites\aq2\Agencies\public\webroot” to the new file location?

@rossgarvey are you getting the same error message?

I am not getting any message just the broken image icon. I have checked the folder for the image and it is there so I don’t know why it isn’t working, very frustrating.

I just installed both on a site, and CAPTCHA does not show up at all. Is this broken?
