I just upgraded to WP 2.8 (using the Studio Press Lifestyle 4.0 theme) and am having the strangest problem in the "Theme Options" section. When I set which categories I want displayed, the number of posts etc, then click "save settings," the page refreshes and everything is blank with the same category selected for every box.
Any ideas how to fix this? As it is the "Theme Options" are completely useless.
Try deactivating all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

I only had one plugin installed (aside from the Featured Gallery plugin that's required to run the theme) but deactivating it didn't solve the issue. So strange! Any other ideas?
Have you tried contacting the theme's author? Could be an issue with this particular theme and WP 2.8.

I did contact Brian but I'd already tried the solution he suggested. He said I need to create a cache in my Tools folder then make it writeable (CHMOD 777), which I've already done. Still can't save my settings though.
Not sure what else I can do... I wasn't having this issue with the previous release of this theme. :(

Did you guys happen to rename your themes along the way? If so, this would probably fix the problem.
