Can't Save Changes with Magazine Basic. (4 posts)

A strange thing happened when I upgraded to WordPress version 2.8. Suddenly, the "save changes" panel on Magazine Basic was gone! I'm talking about the panel on the upper right-hand side: http://bavotasan.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/magadmin.jpg

Does anyone know what may have happened? It was fine before I upgraded. Now, Magazine Basic is useless without the ability to save any changes. I have tried re-installing the MB to the themes section of my BlueHost file manager. I have also cleared my cache. But nothing works. I can't figure this one out.

I've found out that the issue occurs only in blogs running WordPress 2.8,
I tried to manage a little workaround by tricking the url

adding &saved=true at the end of the url and hitting enter, which does display a "Changes saved" message but the theme is definitely not picking up the changes. If anybody knows how to fix this or where are the settings stored in this theme so that they can be edited manually instead of changing the arrays of functions.php

Aparently the issue's been addressed and fixed on its latest update.
author has uploaded a new release which can be found here:

I'll install it now and see if it works
