Hi all,
I know this is probably a simple fix.
In MAMP, in the htdocs folder, I created three separate folders with three separate installs of wordpress. I already had the root, root, user in MAMP. Each site has its own separate user and password, is that not right? Because when it created each database, instead of localhost, I have %. How do I change the % to localhost so I can run the install script?

Nevermind. Fixed. Found the way in phpMyAdmin to change % to localhost, then the script ran fine. But I tell you, there was no apparent way. I clicked on the database, selected privileges, then edit privileges, THEN clicked the large header that said blah@"%" and it took me to the page where I could change the dbhost. whew! a whole week gone.
