I don’t know what the problem could be, but you can reset your pw following this tutorial:

Thanks but I am not even sure how to access the phpmyadmin page. The person who set this entire thing up is not longer working here. I don’t even know who is hosting our site. It is really difficult to even find that out. I was hoping there was an easy way to access and fix through maybe dreamweaver.
Thanks,
Dg

Actually, no it’s not. You can do a simple “whois” search at GoDaddy (or ICANN or tons of other places, actually) and it’ll tell you *exactly* who is hosting your site – all you have to do is look at the nameservers.
Your phpMyAdmin is going to be on your webhost’s control panel (usually, not always – if it’s not you need to ask your host).
If you don’t have the information you need, then you need to find out who your host is and contact them.
Forget DW, usually it messes up the WP code.
The link I posted above is the easy way 🙂
But if you don’t know who your host is then little chances to access your database 🙁
Maybe netbox.com? (based on your whois data)
