I have my website on a hosting, but I’m receiving too traffic so I decided to get my own Server. I have made the backup with the backup button, I have moved the folder updraft on my new server, the plugin recognize the backup, I setted 775 and even 777, even the folder updraft, BUT when I click on Restore, A window with a checkbox appear, I check all the items obviously, and when I click on restore again :
ABORT : Could not find the information on which entities to restore.

    Restore failed…

    Help please 🙂

That’s a strange one. It’s nothing to do with the file permissions. Apparently when you click ‘Restore’ on one page, the checkboxes aren’t detected by the next page.

Possibly your web server or WordPress install has something installed which is stripping out some of the information between one page and the next – perhaps some security module?

Don’t panic – the backup files you have are just ordinary zip and SQL files and can be restored in many different ways – UpdraftPlus’s restoration console is just one convenient option.

You could do a manual restoration – http://updraftplus.com/faqs/i-want-to-restore-but-have-either-cannot-or-have-failed-to-do-so-from-the-wp-admin-console/.

Alternatively if you buy a “we do it for you” package from our shop – http://updraftplus.com/shop/ – if the problem turns out to be a bug in UpdraftPlus (as opposed to something else in your WordPress install or web server) then we refund you 100% of the purchase. (That’s risk free – since if we tried to cheat you then you can re-claim the money via PayPal’s dispute process anyway).
