Can't reset password when username contains a space character (10 posts)

    Users can't reset their password when a user has a space in his/her username. I noticed that on the url reset link the user receives in his/her e-mail (rwl_page/?action=rp&key=randomkey&login=username space) the reset form action page is reloaded by the plugin. When this happens the space in the name is removed.

    Before:
    action="http://url.nl/wp-login.php?action=resetpass&key=randomkey&login=username+space"

    After:
    action="http://url.nl/rwl_page/?action=resetpass&key=randomkey&login=usernamespace"

    When submitting the form for resetting the password the page gives the error that the key is invalid (?action=lostpassword&error=invalidkey)

    Is there an easy fix for this?

    I look forward to your response! Thanks!

    Hi Janneke, have you got any idea when you can release an update that fixes this issue?

    Hi all. I'm super busy right now. I know this is a critical problem and I'll try to fix it ASAP, but I can't promise I can fix this immediately as I have other things on my mind.

    Any pointers that you can give so we can start to come up with our own edits?

    Okay, so I tried to reproduce this problem, but it I can't. The url just contains url encoded spaces (%20).

    The url is broken in the email.

    Someone requested that the password be reset for the following account:

    http://website.com/
    Username: nicholas j farnell
    If this was a mistake, just ignore this email and nothing will happen.

    To reset your password, visit the following address:

    <http://website.com/hsflogin/?action=rp&key=SbhsjFN83pn00R05qBDp&login=nicholas j farnell>

    Even if I copy the link into the browser and replace the empty spaces with %20 it still gives an error.
