Can't remove menu items or add others

    I got this very weird situation in my WordPress website.

    Basically, my menu items are stuck and I can’t remove them because I can’t open that menu item and “remove” it.

    Please see screenshot attached:

    I have no idea how to deal with that, I hope you guys may have.

    Hey there,

    No I didn’t. Nothing changed in that regard.

    My concerns are that it’s something changed on the web server side.

    Have you tried clearing any caching on your site and browser? Tried another browser?

    Have you tried deactivating ALL plugins and switching to the twentytwelve theme to start troubleshooting this?

    BTW, you also need to get WP updated ASAP – using an outdated version is a security risk.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your tips, but eventually it was a database table failure, running a repair on the tables fixed that. I thought that’s the case because the menus were locked somehow.

    I needed to redo the menus but it worked eventually.
