Can't Remove Date from Sticky Post in Scrappy Theme (4 posts)

    I am trying to remove the date from my sticky post in the Scrappy Theme (which I love by the way) and I just can't figure it out. And the only help I have found seems to be about three years old....

    Thanks! Something like this should hide it:

    .sticky .post-date {
      display: none;
    }

    I'd add this to a child theme's style.css or to the Custom CSS module in the Jetpack plugin.

    That's it! It did the trick - Thanks

    Also, how do I remove the category from the sticky post and the comments? Can you tell I am new to this?

    Similar to the above example, you can target different areas of the theme using CSS and set them to display: none;

    You can use a browser addon like Firebug to right-click on the area you want to target and "Inspect" the source code to see the CSS classes. I don't know the exact source off the top of my head, but it's probably .sticky .entry-categories and .sticky .comment-link you want to target in this case.
