[resolved] Can't remove backups from overview (list) in WordPress (7 posts)

    Hi there,

The plugin works great but the only issue I seems to have with the last two updates relates to the removal of the backups in the overview.

When I want to remove the backup I get a fatal error. And the links remain in the overview.

Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in C:\domains\mydomain.com\wwwroot\wp-includes\option.php on line 1043

If you select delete for a single backup the error is still there but the file is removed from the DropBox folder.

    Selecting multiple files:
Fatal error: Call to a member function file_delete() on a non-object in C:\domains\mydomain.com\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\backwpup\inc\class-page-backups.php on line 341

Any idea what may be causing this?

I have no issues with removing log files

Stunning plugin for the rest ;-)

    Hi marcvandenbroek,

thanks for flying with BackWPup. ;) I'll double-check with the plugin author as you're obviously on a Windows machine. Is it a local server (XAMP or similar) or a remote webserver?

    Hi Caspar,

Both sites that I use the plugin on are hosted by a Dutch hosting company (SoHosted.com)

And yes, I'm working the sites from a Windows environment (Win7) locally.

I can check later today on an ipad to see if it works that way...
    Will let you know

    Marc

Same problems here (both of them) on a linux machine and using DropBox to save backups.

    Some info:

    WordPress version 3.5.1
    BackWPup version 3.0.4
    PHP version 5.3.22
    MySQL version 5.1.68-cll
    cURL version 7.24.0
    cURL SSL version OpenSSL/0.9.8b
Server self connect: Response Test O.K.
    Server Apache
    Operating System Linux

Happy to hear that at least first problem has been fixed.
Second scenario gives me the same error as marcvandenbroek:
Fatal error: Call to a member function file_delete() on a non-object in ****/public_html/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/inc/class-page-backups.php on line 341

    An ETA for next release?

I like this addon really much :)

PS: waiting for google drive support :D
