   I downloaded WordPress from Vodahost via Fantastico, with no problems. When it asked for a folder name I left it blank which I believe sets it up in the main directory. I logged into my Admin with no problems and clicked on "visit site" it took me to my home page but that's it. Where's my blog? I am a novice so please bear with me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   You may need to remove or rename the default "index.html" page. First, try typing your url in the address bar and adding "/index.php" to it. See if that brings up your blog.

   I didn't understand and was not trying to make the blog my home page, so how can I either rename my blog or change the directory. Should I just uninstall it and try again, this time putting a name for the folder? What is the best suggestion for naming the folder?

   yes start over. name it whatever you want. we dont care, its YOUR site.

   Can I hijcak this? I have been trying to set up as my main page. left the directory blank. can also go to the wp-admin but not able to reach blog. nothing there if I add the index.php?? Help pls!
