I am having trouble adding static pages to my site. It saves the page and lists it as published and public, even giving me a preview but it does not appear on my site. I am able to publish posts without a problem. I have added static pages previously and had no problem as well. I am unable to resolve this.
I am assuming you are expecting a link to appear to the new page in a menu somewhere. It is not necessarily true that your theme will automatically pick up a new page and add it to the menu. A URL or even the name of the theme you are using would be useful to determine what is actually happening.

yes, this is what I assumed as I created pages without a problem before. I am using thesis and my url is http://www.sarahmelamed.com. I tried deactivating plugins but this did not help. thanks
