   I upgraded from 2.6.5 which was working perfectly to 2.7 and now I can't publish anything. The text editor works fine, and I can insert images fine, but when I click on Publish I get a message like:

   Your attempt to edit this post: "test" has failed.
   Please try again.

   But clicking on "Please try again" takes me to an empty editor. I have lost the entire post!

   This appears to have been related to a plugin called WP-Visitors 1.0. After deactivating the plugin I was able to publish again.
