My publisher just upgraded to the newest version (3.3) and now I can't publish or edit any posts -- which is bad since I'm the editor of our site! And it seems I'm the only one of our staff that is having this problem (so far). I've cleared and restarted almost everything on my computer. Any suggestions?
Hi Nancy! When you try to publish or edit a post, what exactly is happening? For example, are you getting an error message? The more details you can provide us, the better, we're happy to help!

When I hit publish or update, at first the font changes and then if I hit it again, the text disappears completely. Just had a thought -- I wonder if it has something to do with the proofreading plug-in we installed a week or so ago, before upgrading?

OK, that seems to solve the problem -- I've turned off the proofreading and now I can publish and edit. Any bets on whether I'll be able to use it again later, and any hints on why I was the only one affected on our staff?

Most likely the plugin you're using is not compatible with version 3.3 (or there is a bug in 3.3, hard to tell at this point). You may want to touch base with the developer of the plugin to see if they have any ideas.

This is hard to say as well. Is all of staff using the same software? For example, is everyone using Internet Explorer, or are some users using Firefox? If other people are able to use the plugin, it may actually be a browser compatibility issue. I recommend asking someone who this is working for what browser they're using, and then download and use the same browser that they are using.

Hi Nancy, I hope that helps. Keep us updated, and let us know if you find using a different browser works, or if you find another solution - Good luck!
Nancy321 - Can you tell us what the NAME of the plugin is? I'll add it to our lists :)

It is "After the Deadline"
Do you have it installed separately or as a part of Jetpack?
The latest/greatest version of that plugin is included in Jetpack, you see.

Ipstenu -- it was installed separately. We'll look into using Jetpack again.

I am having the exact same problem as Nancy, but her solution is not working for me. I don't have that plugin. Help!

Actually, almost nothing on the edit page works, including the help tab. I can see the red underline dots where the misspellings are, but I can't see the text and I can't switch to HTML view. I can publish and preview, but I can't edit.
Also, the usual wordpress favicon is missing too. What's going on?
Hi Alexa, If you want to post your issue in a separate topic and then respond back with the link to that topic, I'll be happy to troubleshoot further with you.

I do not know how to start a new topic.
To post a new topic, visit: http://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting and then scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen
I had the same problem as Nancy321, and I can now publish after deactivated the After the deadline / proofreader (Thank you for your tips on solving the problem!), ..But I can still not change from the visual to html-view .. dvs the buttons have disappeared.
