I am doing a back up of my site before I upgrade to WordPress latest version.
The plugin creates the back up, but doesnt allow me to open the zip file. I have tried:
1. Clicking "Download" from the tool menu in WordPress
2. Downloaded zip file through my FTP client
But it still wouldn't open. It just changes to a .cpgz file.
Help...

Thats not good.
I have seen this once before and it was caused by a corrupt image in the uploads folder, maybe you have one of those?
If you want to email me a copy of your backup (tom@hmn.md) I can try to see if I can find which file is the culprit by looking in the zip file.
If your into command line wizardry then you could try unzipping using the zip command and some of the -f -F -T switches (I forget which one but if your a wizard you'll know :-)
