    I got this message when i tried to open the backup file and for some reason is not working when i tried to restore my website.

    Acrobat could not open ‘backwpup_’ because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn’t correctly decoded).

    To create an Adobe PDF document, go to the source application. Then print the document to Adobe PDF.

    What is the complete file name you wuld like to open?

    If you on windows use a program like http://www.7-zip.org/ to open the Backup archives.

    Hi! Thanks for the great Plugin.
    I have WP BackWPup 3.1.2, WP newest, the backupfile goes to a folder, after downloading the xxx.tar.gz i can’t open it with “7-Zip”.
    The “7-Zip” say’s ” Data error XXXXXXXXX The file ist damaged!”
    Protokoll say’s OK
