    Hello.

I am creating a static website (non-blog). I am using a wordpress premium theme purchased through themify.me. When I purchased a premium theme through mysitemyway I could easily modify the permalink structure according to the page name. For example, if my site's name is amy.com and one of my pages is called "about" i would want to permalink structure to be http://www.amy.com/about rather than (as it is now) page_id12 (or something). In the past all I had to do was type in what I wanted it to be called and it would change, now I don't see an option to do that. Please help.

update: I have also modified the slugs according to page name and the permalink structure still isn't matching up to the page names (ie the "about" page still does not appear as "about" in the URL but rather as a series of numbers/letters unrelated to the name of the page).

Support for a premium theme is provided by the developers of that theme. Not much we can do here as themes change a lot of things around.

When I posted the same question in the theme support forum they said:

"Permalinks are dealt with by WordPress' core functionality..."

But when I post it here you guys say it's a theme issue. Please help.

So when you go to the dashboard, settings, permalinks and click on the post name button and then save, nothing happens?
