• Hi everyone!

I’m trying to insert 2 images into a homepage’s header, but for some reason beyond me, the sliders that are suppposed to be included in the theme are not working. So I want to try to insert the images manually but have no clue how to do so. I’m at beginner level and can do some html but don’t know which part of css or php I would have to mess with, any guidance you can give me will be much appreciated.

This is the homepage header I want to put the images into:

    homepage

I want to locate 1 image under the logo and menu, and the other just above the menu.

As additional info, this is a design someone else started, so I don’t know if maybe he edited the code and that’s why the original theme’s sliders won’t work…

    Thanks for your help!

  • Go to appearance -> editor and find header.php

This is most likely the file you want to edit to make those changes.

Hi, thank you for your reply! Will that affect the header of all pages or just the homepage? I just want to change the homepage’s header.

The only other thing I thought of doing is incorporating the image into the text body of the homepage, but can’t figure out a way to override the padding around the image…

My brain is overheating now, total newbiness…
