is it possible to login here: http://www.satvoices.com/wp-login.php

    If so try:
    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    if not try:

    - switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

This could be a charset issue (utf8): http://forums.phplist.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=29602

    try this
open your theme file's in notepad++, from the Encoding Menu select Convert to UTF-8 without BOM, save all the files, replace it on the host.

did you reset the plugins folder?

Deactivate the plugins first to see if it is not a plugin problem:
Via FTP or your host's control panel, navigate to the wp-contents folder (directory)

    • Via FTP or your host's control panel, rename the folder "plugins" to "plugins.hold"
    • Via FTP or your host's control panel, create new folder called "plugins"
    • try toLogin to your WordPress administration menus

    Unfortunatly that didn't work.
I haven't done what you said earlier about UTF-8 without BOM, i didn't quite understand how to do it.

Sorry, it does now appear to be working with the superblogger name changed to superbloggerx, i presume i should just keep it like that?

And Thanks for your time and effort in helping me. it's really appreciated.

Any chance i can email you and tell you my admin password etc so you could have a look at my account something else is very wrong, the front page is dispalying code and when i hit update all i get is a white screen, i thought maybe there would be something obvious.

your theme is causing the trouble. Did you make many modifications to it or can you download a new copy and reupload? Are you on a windows or mac or linux? I don't think I can do much with your admin password.

If you are on windows you can download this texteditor: notepad++

Open your themefiles with this texteditor and from the Encoding Menu select Convert to UTF-8 without BOM, save all the files, reupload it your to your server.
