   I'm running a test version of my site on the same server that hosts my live version in a /beta folder. Everything was working fine until I just imported my real database into my test database. The site seems to be working exactly the same after I hardcoded the URL into the wpconfig file that's already got the correct database setup, however, I can't login at /wp-admin. I'm not getting an incorrect password error message, it just accepts my password then reloads the login screen over and over again even after resetting the password via email and phpMyAdmin.

   Instead of importing the database itself, try exporting from the live site to an xml file, and then upload that to the test site.
