My site administrator made me a login and password so I could do some SEO work for them. However when I try to login with the given username and password, after I hit the login button the password will dissapear. There is no shaking of the login box, as if i had entered the wrong password.
If I intentionally enter the wrong password, the box will shake.
The admin is able to login just fine using the username and password he generated for me. I have tried for 5 different computers, using everything from firefox, to chrome, to safari with the same result.

No cookies are enabled. I have about 12 other wordpress sites I do work on, and have never come across this issue before. I can login to each of those other sites without issue.
I saw two other threads about the same problem. No shaking box unless a wrong password is intentionally entered. I haven't seen any resolution to the problem so far.
Ask the site admin to:
- deactivate all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switch to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- reset the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- reset any custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks and delete (or rename) the .htaccess file in the WP root folder.
