   i just setup wordpress, it is being hosted by justhost. it lets met put in username and password, after i click enter it refreshes the page. the weird thing is that it recognizes if i got the wrong pass or if the account exists but when i put in the correct information it wont work.

   i have tried:
   -clearing cookies, history..etc
   -checked the password in phpmyadmin
   -deleted all plugins in the plugins folder
   -i have re-installed wp several times

   i have been searching Google for the past 6 hours and have not been able to find a solution that works, i have tried several things. i would not be posting this without trying to figure it out myself. So i really appreciate if someone could help me with this. i will keep on searching and if i find anything i will post it here for anyone with the same problem.

   i just manualy upgraded to version 3.2.1 and redid everything i mentioned above and still i have the same problem.. does anyone know how to resolve this?

   Are you using FF? Try a different browser.

   Also can you get in by using the "lost password" feature where you get an email with a temprary password.

   i have tried the recovering password.. in both Chrome,ff, and ie and its the same thing... i type the username and pass, click enter and the page just refreshes

   just posting to let everyone know the things that i have tried.. i have removed everything that has to do with wordpress, databases, users, folders..etc

   i just did a full manual install, creating the database, db users, site admin, wp-config.php file.... and its still giving me the same problem, i try to log on and it seems like its going to work but it just refreshes the page.

   my guess is that there is something going on probably with the login.php file but i dont know enough php to be able to figure out what is the problem.

   if anyone knows and could help me out with this i would really appretiate it, i have alot of things for the site ready and this is holding it up, i have spent probably a total of 10hours trying to figure this thing out

   i managed to fix the problem.. i went in to my hosts cpanel, completely deleted every database, and file in public section, even htaccess. and then reinstalled wp and now it works fine. i believe it was htaccess file that was holding something up, if anyone else has this problem, thats how i fixed it.
