My friend and I are running a website. He bought a host for it and after he confirmed everything, we aren't able to log--in in. This may be a stupid question but it won't let us log-in. Is there a special way you have to log-in to the new website?

If WordPress is installed, go to:
yourdomain.com/wp-login.php
or:
yourdomain.com/your-blog-directory/wp-login.php
I know someone around here can help me with our problem.
It all started when I can't login to our site issue but the real problem was, it throws an Error 404. I searched some related issues and found out that we just have to change file permissions of all directories (wp-admin,wp-content,wp-includes) to 755. It was indeed the solution but after a few days, it starts displaying latest content feed instead of the link (pages, posts, tags, categories, archives) you clicked.
I would resort to re-installing the site if ever the problem persist but its better to raise the issue here first.
bty, here's our site Cotabato Exchange Daily
ianemv, please start your own topic. You issue is unrelated to that of the original poster's.
When I go to login, it says "invalid username" even though we used a wordpress.com blog before and I had my own blog too...
The copy of WordPress that you installed has nothing to do with your wordpress.com blog or your previous blogs. They do not share user accounts.
Are you sure you're attempting to login with a user name that you created on that particular blog?
That might be it. I'm just not sure how to make a username for the blog.
more than likely the user name will be admin
if you need to reset pass
