   I recently changed to a new host (From iPage to Fatcow) and now my wordpress seems to be broken!

   I copied over all of the files from FTP, from the old one to the new one.

   I exported the contents of the old MySQL database, made a new database on Fatcow (had to change the username to lowercase as Fatcow wouldn't let me use caps) and imported all the contents into that database.

   I then updated wp-config.php to the new username of the database (keeping the database name and password the same because I did) and the new database host, being Fatcow.

   My website is up and running, thought now I can't login. When I go to http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin it redirects to me http://www.mysite.com/wordpress/wp-login.php and then says page not found.

   Funny thing is, a day after I moved the host, the login worked fine because I logged in and made a new post, and now I've checked it today and it's not working.

   I've tried recreating the database, that didn't work.
   I also redownloaded wordpress, uploaded via FTP and overwrited all the files, and that still didn't fix.

   Can anybody help me please? I don't want to start from scratch. Thank you!

   Hello,

   I no longer have access to my wp-admin. I get the following message:

   http://www.mariviereaquarelle.com/wp/wp-login.php?zp1w4hlaqhgxayct3ihqr&redirect_to=/wp/wp-admin/

   I recently installed the plugin WP Better SECURITY, a possible cause. However, I disabled all plugins but without success.

   Can you help me?

   I am with you Tom! Was working on my site this morning and it was taking forever to update a simple change so finally shut it down to restart and reload the change. Now I can't even get the site to load, let alone login to my dashboard. HELP anyone please!

   CMc2, your website seems to work fine :)

   I contacted FatCow support and they said this:
   I've corrected siteurl and home entry and now admin page http://www.tomlonghurst.com/wordpress/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tomlonghurst.com%2Fwordpress%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 is loading fine.

   Though for me my website is more broke. My website doesn't even load at all, my homepage is a blank page with 0
   And wp-admin, chrome says is a broken link?

   @tomhurst the best way to fix this is to login to your Control panel and get to the phpmyadmin.

   Once there, go to your database and go to the wp_options table.
   Look for the siteurl and then the home. Make sure that both are set to http://www.tomlonghurst.com

   I think that whoever "fixed"your site at Fatcow support messed something up.
