Wow, that’s a pretty old version of WP (2.5.1).

Can you screenshot the error? Also, what do you mean by funky chicken?

By “funky chicken” I mean that when I try to login in, it just toggles back and forth between URLs and then gives me this error msg: http://yfrog.com/j4uzwp

Not sure how to update to the latest version if it’s hosted on my own server – any link you can send? I’m worried about it screwing up my content if I upgrade it…

    Thanks helping out, btw!

That screenshot was actually helpful 🙂 There’s a dif between a straight wordpress error and this (which is your browser failing to login).

The first step is to clear out your cache and all cookies on your browser and try again.

Second is to sort out when did you last log in without error, when did you last upgrade anything, or change anything.

Clearing the cache seems to have worked but now I can’t seem to get in with the password I used to use. Is there anyway through ftp that I can login and change that, or even through cpanel? I just can’t get in to edit anything and the password reminder isn’t working – keeps sending me an email saying things were reset but never goes through. Argh!

It says “Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid.” when I reply on the link that they sent me to my email…weird
