can't login to admin, help pls! (12 posts)

    hi guys,

    suddenly i couldn't log in to my wp admin, it gives me this error message:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function defined() in /home/freemone/public_html/mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php on line 14

    Fatal error: Nesting level too deep - recursive dependency? in Unknown on line 0

    what should i do?

    Try and upload wp-admin folder from fresh download.

    thanks for the quick reply,

    i've uploaded a fresh folder of wp-admin, but problem still exists, it first turns a blank page, and when i hit refresh, the error messages shows up agin...

    using ftp delete admin.php that is inside wp-admin and then replace admin.php from a fresh download.

    it happened again :(

    this time the admin page is blank, with no error messages...

    i've replaced the admin.php with a fresh one again, but problem still exists...

    what should i do??

    There must some thing on wordpress causing the problem have you tried and deactivate plugins and see still have the problem and then activate one at time.

    hi, thanks for your reply.

    i cannot login the admin panel so don't know how i can do this... is there another way around this?

    Have you tried: - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). -

    using ftp rename plugins folder to plugins-hold and create a blank folder plugins and then try log in

    switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems? - by using ftp rename your theme in themes folder and try loging in

    i just remembered that i installed wprobot yesterday and the admin page went blank, i just deleted using ftp, and everything is back to normal. thanks a lot for your advice!!

    Great 90% of time is plugin or theme that creates the problem.
