    Hey,

    Do you know how can it be resolved? I have just updated my wordpress site. It looked good until I had to login again to my admin dashboard. First thing what I've tried was renaming the plugins, did not help. Then I've copied everything wp-admin and wp-includes without the wp-content from previous version of wordpress this made me able to login once but when I tried to click somewhere I had to log in again and after that I could not get to the admin area again. I have to tell that my wordpress is in a folder(not in the root) and previously I have made a mirror of wp-admin named it login-admin and used this code to redirect it:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    ##### ABOVE THIS POINT IS ALREADY INSERTED BY WORD PRESS
    ##### Michi’s code is BELOW #####
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} wp-admin/
    RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} !YOURSECRETWORDHERE
    RewriteRule .*\.php [F,L]
    RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} !YOURSECRETWORDHERE
    RewriteRule ^ADMINFOLDER/(.*) wp-admin/$1?%{QUERY_STRING}&YOURSECRETWORDHERE [L]
    ##### Michi’s code is ABOVE #####
    ##### BELOW THIS POINT IS ALREADY INSERTED BY WORD PRESS
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]

    It worked very well, until the upgrade. I think something happened to the .htaccess

    At some point the wp-login was redirecting me to Page Not Found and later on I saw in the link of wp-login the login-admin location, so it was somehow redirecting me to it. I have changed the .htaccess to standard `# BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>
    # END WordPress`

    Then I have change wp-options in my database. The siteurl was http://mywebsite.com/folder I have changed it to http://www.mywebsite.com/folder and suddenly I was able to login but everything was white (backgrounds) not the usual colors. After I tried to update plugins I had to login again and after that I was unable to login again. Then I looked up for login-admin in the database there were about 34 matches in redirections I have changed it all to wp-admin Then I suddenly was able to login in but when I went to plugins to update it brought me back to login page, but then I had to put http://www.mywebsite.comfolder/wp-admin in the address bar and login in again and it would bring me back to the admin area. Now I just changed something with the plugins not sure what as I'm puzzeled and I can't login again :(

    Is there anyway to fix it somehow? or the only way is to reinstall it all?

    I just see it when I put login and password it redirects me to the login-wp location `http://www.mywebsite.com/folder/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mywebsite.com%2Ffolder%2Flogin-admin%2F&reauth=1
    `
    I have already deleted the login-wp folder, why is it still redirecting me to it and causing that I can't log in.
