OK, so I installed WP on my website. And the home page came up, http://www.mysiteurl.com/wordpress1/, I didn't want the /wordpress1/ to always be up on the homepage so I saw in settings where I could change the home page name. I changed it to http://www.mysiteurl.com. Now, I can't even login anymore to my admin section. Any suggestions?

You can not just change the urls in Settings>>>General without moving the wordpress files and folders.
Since you already changed the urls using ftp or your host file manager you will need move content of wordpress1 folder into your root folder.
