• I can login to wordpress on my laptop, but not my desktop. Also, someone who is going to help me with parts of the website also can’t login, although he can log in to other people’s wordpress. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Did you recently change password.

Are you letting your browser remember your passwords when loggin in?

I suspect desktop cookie have old pwd, as well as on your helper PC

Clear out cookies on both computers and try again.

Or try from a browser you have not used on that computer yet

Actually, I have added wordpress to my site/domain name only a few weeks ago and did so on my laptop. When I gave the login info. to my helper, he was not able to login on different computers and even tried different browsers. I then decided to try on my desktop- which I had not previously used for this site yet, and got the same response. The password has not been changed, but even if it was, no one has ever logged into it on these other computers.
    Any other suggestions?

Do you have any other security measures installed … like only allowing acces to admin from the laptop IP address.

If I do, I’m not aware of them. I know I didn’t install anything. Do you know if there is a way to see if there are security measures?

@coachrobyn – what are you seeing when you can’t login? Are you getting an error screen?

no, it just says invalid login- just as if someone were typing in the incorrect login information.

Do you use s2member plugin or any plugin that edits your login form for any reason? I had the same issue and disabled s2member plugin and it fixed it.
